I saw this show when it was performed in New York. I thought it was incredible. Tanya Perez puts on a very moving performance as she portrays the stories of both a grandfather and his granddaughter. In addition to telling a poignant tale she sheds light on a little known chapter of American history. The great writing and acting combined with the beautiful guitar playing of Carlos Cuestas makes for a wonderful evening of theater.... full review

I felt emotional even before the show started! The scene was set as I walked into the theatre and Tanya Perez grabbed my attention with her incredible presence as soon as she walked on stage. The show is beautiful, heartfelt and so incredibly performed and the story is touching.
