Brilliant idea to combine two solo shows into a single ticket performance. And, each show was unique and different, which was great!

Better brand of cheap Mexican beer? ;)
My overall impression
Two one-woman shows for the price of one!
“Simulakra” by Alyssa Virker (hope I spelled that right). Alyssa’s show is a perfect mash-up of visual and physical storytelling. Quirky, funny, and charming, with a great message in the end. I really love this kind of approach to performance.
“My Dead Mom’s Funeral” by Angela Beevers. Angela’s show was comedy gold. There are a thousand shows about loved ones and cancer. Many try to pull it off as heartfelt comedy. This show pulls it off in spades! Absolutely loved it.
You owe it to yourself to get a ticket for this great duo of shows.
