The actors were so committed, especially the two parents. I fully believed that their child was in the next room, and I felt the desperateness of their situation. They went for it, and held nothing back.
What I didn't like
With a play this short, with such a powerful punch, there isn’t much that could be improved here. It was incredible.
My overall impression
I was not prepared for the gravitas that this play delivered. From the moment that the lights went up, I was drawn in to the struggle of the young, low-income single mother and her wounded child. This play grabs hold and doesn’t let you go. One of the best plays I have ever seen at a Fringe fest
