First of all, ain’t nothing more exciting than the buzz that creates a line of people down the street, who are then packed like friendly sardines in an intimate space — and then to have that buzz be validated by such an awesome show.
One sketch in particular, which has one guy trying to figure out which actor named Chris starred in which movie, leading to a jazz-like riff of our celebrity-obsessed culture that also takes note of the crazy amount of information hurled at consumers these days. Hi-larious!
Oh, and I liked Joe. And Joshua.
What I didn't like
What… no free beer? ;)
My overall impression
Topical, gritty, and loving, this fast 50 minutes is a little bit sketch comedy and a little bit rock ‘n’ roll (or should I say “house”?). These guys let us in on some very real aspects of their life while commenting on the complicated issues of our age (dating, racism, etc. etc.).
