What I liked
The dialogue is so natural and a gentle, warm atmosphere is sustained all the way through.
What I didn't like
Although not possible in this kind of festival schedule, I’d love to see this play in a fully realized physical production.
My overall impression
Young man meets barmaid in a London pub in this beautifully written and acted play. Their interaction provokes a lot of thought about the nature of what “home” is, but you’re not bashed over the head with it! Their characters are well drawn and completely held my attention. It’s a charming and riveting production.
