My favorite moment was the one in which the mother’s bigotry starts to melt from the warmth and charm of the first transgender person she’d ever spoken to.
What I didn't like
I was taken with it from first moment to last.
My overall impression
There were layers upon layers of meaning in this beautiful piece and the acting was uniformly wonderful…which was particularly remarkable since a number of the actors were playing two different characters with specificity and deep emotional complexity.
