What I liked

I liked the fact that diverse characters were so well-developed even in this short run time and that there was no intermission, which meant NO break in the emotional run up to the conclusion. It left me literally sobbing, beginning with the shooting scene and almost without letup until the powerful conclusion. Of course my reason for being there was the ever wonderful Tania Verafield who played her parts with such almost childlike grace and ease as if she were indeed these characters. Bravo to writer Cortez, director de Santos and the entire cast for this extremely well-acted and powerful play!

What I didn't like

I brought a few friends who were a bit confused, not being small theater buffs by a single actor playing multiple roles. I have been to Rogue before and was not disturbed by this as it was pretty clear from costuming, speech and overall demeanor that these were different people altogether. Really not a thing to “be improved” simply an observation. Thank you again!

My overall impression

I was so moved, almost from the beginning, by the genuineness of the characters from all “perspectives” of this important issue, each presented without judgment of any sort. We of course knew from the beginning what the chaos and emotionality on stage were due to, but the subtlety of the actual shooting not being presented till 3/4’s into the play when we by now were deeply connected to the characters was an ingenuous device. Bravo to all concerned!
