What I liked
I enjoyed the show. The writing was well and the characters were true to life with this current event. Their commitment(s) to characters were honest and received. (especially the dual characters) I did appreciate the writing taking time to carve out this particular story in such a tragic event. She could have gone several routes but…we all love the love story.
What I didn't like
I think the ending could have been stretched out a bit much. I’m not quite sure how…but it just sort of ended.
My overall impression
The use of religion is always difficult but it was used carefully within the script. Well done…And maybe a little more poetic in terms of Enrique. I loved Rumi being used at the end and the quote worked well. I feel like Rafi should have been saying the poem with Enrique at the end as another layer of the newfound love he found. Overall, I enjoyed the show, it was unique in it’s dealing with a tough subject matter.
