Wow. Just wow. What an utter delight. Concept, script, cast, and all are practically pitch perfect. Carey Matthews as Mason is now my spirit animal.
What I didn't like
You know, there was one thing — and I won’t ruin it — but one thing that happened where the narrator who breaks the fourth wall interacted with something (essentially ret-conning evidence into a scene as a matter of convenience) in order to facilitate moving the audience’s choices forward. That felt to me like cheating, but when everything else is so on point and, essentially, silly (in a good way) then one finds forgiveness for minor flaws.
My overall impression
Great. Go see it. Go see it twice or three times, to see how differently things can play out.
