I thought this was a highly entertaining show. The play itself is well written, and the cast did an excellent job of bringing it to life in a believeable way. The situations the characters encounter–and the device used to provide the audience a chance to vote–could have made this play seem farcical. But it did not. Instead, it’s a play with moments that are hilarious, serious, frightening, and sad: in other words, it reflects life.
With an ensemble cast, it’s sometimes easy to point to certain standout performers, but that’s not the case here. The actors are all quite talented, delivering strong, nuanced performances throughout the piece.
Oh—And having the chance to affect what happens on stage is pretty fun, too. ;-)
What I didn't like
Not sure I have a lot of feedback here. I would have preferred slightly more on stage to provide context of where different parts of the house were—but I understand that the limitations of Fringe make that fairly difficult to accomplish.
My overall impression
This is a show with an excellent ensemble cast. Given the strength of the writing and the performances, it’s well worth seeing this show twice, with the hope of seeing all of the variations on the scenes.
