What I liked
I enjoyed the rhythm and the pacing, the humor, the way Jade transforms into different characters, the exploration of uncertainty and confusion — in a way that is inviting for the viewer to experience alongside the main character. I also really really enjoyed the political satire elements. The sisters Tiffy and Ivanka! And Mr. Franco. YES.
I also absolutely adored the ending. Won’t give it away though!!
What I didn't like
I wish we could have explored Ivanka a little more possibly. She was named a few times and we didn’t get much of her, or any really. I wanted to know what she might say or do. How she might resist or protest.
My overall impression
What a gutsy, touching, well performed one tran show!! Jade, BRAVA BRAVISSIMA!!! I am so excited for you to share this show with as many audience members as possible. I believe you are going to touch so many people with your work in ways they cannot expect.
