This show was a very pleasant surprise. I was hooked, and I wasn’t alone! You could hear a pin drop in that theater, (besides the laughter and occasional sniffle). The 90 minute show takes us on a ride that feels more like an intimate experience. Jade becomes someone we know, instead of someone we are watching. It is a journey about life and a ride we are taken on, full of surprises and frequent un-spoken about truths. Though her personal experience may be different from our own, she lays heavily into the emotions that are all so familiar in each of us. We can recognize ourself and empathize with her and never feel like she is complaining. She is telling her story with strength, sorrow, vulnerability, song and dance. And it is just so, so good.
I am recommending to everyone to go see this. I am inspired, and I think you will be, too.
What I didn't like
It was all good. :))
My overall impression
I haven’t seen anything that has kept my full and undivided attention completely from start to finish. “Transmission” achieved the impossible!
