What I liked
Alfie’s sense of play and relaxation into character was beautiful. the story line of john was relatable while alfie was more of an over the top figment of sparkle in our imaginations.
I personally enjoyed all the references to sequins and sparkles!
The storyline was great about self acceptance and being you.
What I didn't like
i had a hard time hearing the voiced over monologue towards the end which seemed like a major part of the show… who alfie is in all of our lives, etc.
other than that i was very entertained and recommend it!
My overall impression
Alfie is such a sparkle of fresh air!
As a fellow lover of sparkle and fabulousness I just adored Alfie sooooo much! Alfie’s wardrobe is on point from the opening sequined school outfit, to rip away soccer uniform, to sequined draguation… everything sparkled so beautifully.
