What I liked

The standout vignettes were the ones that drew parallels between the little girl playing with her toys and painting, and the embodiment of those activities with the dancers. A little girl draws a green haired woman who comes to life. A doll is suspended by balloons to hang in mid-air, and then a dancer is similarly hung with the elaborate and artistic tying of ropes around her body.

What I didn't like

Nothing comes to mind. It was a nice balance of the sensual, and the cerebral. I look forward to future shows from this new troupe.

My overall impression

An intense, artsy burlesque dance show that is both sensual and creative as it examines the fetish of dolls, both plastic and human.
