What I liked
This show is A LOT of fun. The writer/composer, Spencer, is incredibly endearing as the main character and the rest of the cast brings a lot of energy and really own the campy self awareness that makes this show fun. I loved the blends of well known jingles and the Jingle-ettes (if that’s what they are called?) were really entertaining!
What I didn't like
I think the show can stand alone without the extra narrator character appearing at the beginning and end. It feels tacked on and we didn’t get any extra info – the characters in the play itself are so great as they are, they need no additional introduction!
My overall impression
I had a great time, laughed a lot. Don’t go in expecting a polished piece of serious theatre – this show is fast, it’s campy, it’s self-aware, and FUN =]
