What I liked

I especially liked the 3rd grade section of the show. It was a great reprise of the opening number when they were high schoolers. I loved the Star Eulogy with it’s haunting melody. The character of the the devil was an interesting addition and explanation for the bus.

What I didn't like

I realize that shows change and develop, but I don’t have specific ideas of things to change.

My overall impression

The Edge of the Universe: a Magic School Bus Musical Parody is a walk down memory lane for the beloved children’s TV show. My daughter grew up on the Magic School Bus, knew the many references and was delighted to see beloved characters coming to life. I enjoyed the show for it’s creativity, music and enthusiasm. The cast was delightful. The staging was flexible and kept the story moving. The third grade segment was my favorite. Elias Rubin has a great future in store.
