What I liked
The script is so smart and funny. KUDOS!
The performers!!! In addition to the excellent dancing/singing, some truly great comedic timing here!

What I didn't like
Thought the momentum/energy dipped a teensy bit in the last 20% or so (i.e., when things got more serious).
At the risk of sounding like a LIBERAL SNOWFLAKE WHO NEEDS A SAFE SPACE, the scene where Tightass kills I’ll Feel Ya felt just the slightest bit too real. Like, obviously I knew he wasn’t hurting her and that the scene was fully choreographed and had been well-rehearsed; but that dude already looks like a more menacing Nic Cage, and the choreo was so tight that it really did look like he was yanking her around, etc. So it took me out of it just the slightest bit because I was like “wow; it REALLY looks like he’s messing her up.” I guess what I’m saying is I maybe would have preferred if that scene look more stylized (i.e., “dance-y”), as opposed to authentic? Please know that this is the lamest comment I’ve ever written, and I 100% feel like my mom right now.
My overall impression
GO SEE THIS SHOW!!! My favorite thing I’ve seen this Fringe :) So smart and funny; I was DEEPLY impressed by the number of Shakespeare puns. Was expecting to just see a burlesque show, but was treated to an intricate plot (within-a-plot, no less!), fleshed out characters, creative song covers, and some truly excellent singing! And the burlesque which anchors all of it is fantastic as well. The script is laugh-out-loud funny, and I say that as someone who hates that expression. The performers are across-the-board GREAT, and a number of them are truly gifted at comedic timing. Again: GO SEE THIS SHOW, whether you are familiar with burlesque or not (I wasn’t). It is smart and sexy and hilarious. Really cannot stress enough how much fun I had :)
