My overall impression
This is a lovely little show performed by a seasoned professional. Richard is a true master of clever ditties and this show offers a casual review of a selection he’s composed throughout his career. I liked the intimacy of the studio space especially for this show— felt appropriately relaxed for the style of the show— informal— but still presentational enough to feel like a performance, like a little jazz club. Just wish we all had drinks: listening to songs about bars makes you wish you had a cocktail!
