What I liked
Richard has a lovely dynamic singing voice and his songs are enjoyable and clever.
What I didn't like
This piece needed a bar setting- 3 clubs would have been great…this is a very stripped down show- it’s a guy at a keyboard – playing songs out of his book -which is fine and even refreshing, but the venue (and I love this venue – doing my own show there) did not feel suited to it at all…
My overall impression
Great tunes,lovely and pleasant singing voice and a refreshing quick piece. Like stepping into the tiki room at Disneyland – a fun break to hear some tunes and relax amidst a crazy storm of a million other attractions.
The brief singalong was my favorite part.
