What I liked
Good staging. Some laughs. The performers were better than the material.
What I didn't like
The cast sounded very good when singing as a group, but with a couple of exceptions did not sound nearly as good when singing individually. I wish the script had more satirical bite and bigger laughs.
My overall impression
I was disappointed. It felt like an improv show, and when I read the program afterward I realized why. Many of the cast members, including the woman who co-wrote the script and played the lead character, have backgrounds in improv. As a result, the show seemed careless and sloppy. I would not recommend this production.
