What I liked

The play experiments an insight into the corporate world through the eyes of three strong women and their perspective on the experience. I loved the concept of a world in which people would call in a service to get their math calculations made over the phone. The play explores the women who run and work in this business and let me tell you, it’s outrageous and fun. There are moments when its a fine line between comedy and dystopia which pulled me into the world immediately. Performance from the actors were strong and compelling. The individual monologues each actors provided (the personal insight to this corporate world) was captivating to hear and watch from my seat. They really knew how to stand ground and make us listen. The direction was also playful, precise, and well-choreographed. Go watch and see for yourself!

What I didn't like

I wanted more! The concept was compelling and I found myself wanting the idea/thought behind the calculations business to be explored further. I hungered for a further indepth history of these women and their relationship.

My overall impression

Overall, this show captured the spirit of the fringe festival. The chemistry amongst actors, the intimate space, the risk the director & writer took to bring such a story to the stage in the most unique way— I highly recommend you seeing this show if you want to walk out pondering about your life’s choices (in a good way!)
