What I liked
The musicality of both the singers and the band was wonderful, and all the “throwback” conventions (i.e., the singing girls wearing cigarette boxes, etc.) added to the kitsch. Hysterical writing, and the performers were wonderful in their roles.
What I didn't like
The staging seemed somewhat awkward at times, but with a little refinement would be spot-on.
My overall impression
Hysterically, wickedly funny production that has its tongue firmly planted in cheek. My face hurt from laughing and smiling.
