What I liked
The show is what I liked, which is why I took the time to come write a review. I was unaware the website would hold my hand and mandate a framework for my response. Irregardless (joke), this is an excellent show everyone should see.
What I didn't like
What didn’t strike my fancy? Is this Yelp now? Do you have any idea how destructive it can be for someone to detail how their personal tastes were unfulfilled in a web-published peer review? Are press reviewers forced into this bizarre format as well, or just audiences who already spent money to see it and are now donating personal time to try and help a good show get more people in the house?
My overall impression
It’s classic entertainment with contemporary sensibilities, pushing the boundaries of socially acceptable material before turning its eye back on its own privilege. Smooth singing, great comedy, and sexy, sexy sweaters.
