What I liked

The show was brilliantly written. Very dark comedy, but an excellent social commentary that is specifically timely considering the Trump effect. The performances were all excellent, but the stand-outs were the guy who played Cam, just when you think he’s a meathead, asshole, miscreant, he hits this emotional flip and it changes your whole perspective of him and makes the ending (no spoilers) pay off so much more. Brilliant. The girl who played Bailey was great as well, perfectly honest portrayal. Again, the whole cast was great, but those two stood out for me.

What I didn't like

The theatre was REALLY hot, other than that—no complaints.

My overall impression

The show is a brilliant social commentary on the dumbing down of America in the Trump era (even though it was written like a decade ago). It’s also a telling look into coming of age. It hits on some very sensitive topics and if you are someone who is easily offended…not for you. But, if you like to squirm a little and think and just flat out laugh your ass off, this is a great way to spend an hour! The cast is excellent, they play their roles to perfection and they all show at varying points that there is much more to them than what is on the surface and sometimes, it’s even worse. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely be seeing it again.
