What I liked

I loved how the structure of the stories interacted with the space. This was a really fun show to see in a bar! Shira also commands the stage really well and it almost feels like a memoir come to life.

What I didn't like

Nothing! It’s a little jarring at first, as music is heavily incorporated into the show in short spurts, but after the first major transition, it really comes together.

My overall impression

This is a fun, energetic show about the complexities of sex, identity, and happiness so much more. This was my first solo show, and I was impressed by how much I connected with the performer’s story. She runs around the room, changing costume, jumping around timelines, and yet in the end it all comes together in a cohesive, compelling narrative that also makes you appreciate how versatile a blow up doll can be.
