What I liked
The interaction between the actors, sometimes inches away from the audience, was revealing and engaging.
What I didn't like
Fringe Categories could be improved. I immensely enjoyed this show and others like Pagliaccis at the 2017 Fringe. I’d like to see subcategories in Fringe registrations to be able to find more new works that rely on strong writing and acting rather than crowd-pleasing gimmicks and mainstream aesthetics.
My overall impression
Great performance – writing, acting, staging and directing all support the immersive experience. The story is unusual and complete. The show made me consider the origins of traditional fairy tales.
