What I liked
The writing. Clever and thought-provoking, with impressively well-placed funny moments right when they’re needed. The actors are all very good.
What I didn't like
My overall impression
This was a wonderful, thoughtful play that reminded me why I love a black box theatre. The actors were uniformly fantastic at balancing the humor against the play’s heavy premise, which will superficially remind you of Eternal Sunshine. The writing itself reminded me of Jonathan Ames, so it was no surprise when I looked up Ms. Kearse afterward and saw that she was a Blunt Talk alum (as are some of the cast). Strongly recommended — I’d love to see it in a larger space soon.
