Slightly-Off Broadway

What I liked

The singing was so wonderful! The lyrics were witty and relatable! The voices were GORGEOUS! It was a joy to watch, but also dealt with some heavier subjects – as some musicals do! I really loved how they sung the opening and closing ‘curtain speech’ too!

My favorite songs were the On My Own parody, Part of your world, the opening dating song, the SVU song… wait, I’m listing pretty much all the songs.

What I didn't like

I wanted an overall arching story or theme… but at the same time, it was a musical review and it covered so many fun subjects, so I don’t think that really matters.

I enjoyed the political songs but the person next to me seemed turned off by them. So, I guess the only thing with politics is to know that not everyone shares the same view and it could alienate members of the audience….but then the next song is so delightful, it gets them back on board :)

My overall impression

I loved it! Slightly Off-Broadway was so much fun to watch, I wish you had more shows!
