What I liked

Leslie Rubino really nailed Leah Remini’s mannerisms, and she was a pleasure to watch.

Also liked the Shelly and David characters.

What I didn't like

I got the joke in that the actor playing Tom Cruise didn’t really resemble him physically, but I didn’t quite get the Katie Holmes character. The actress neither resembled Katie Holmes physically or in her mannerisms, nor did she even try to talk like her, which would have been hilarious. I mean, why not have a dark brown wig at the very least? For me, that character was the weakest of the show. Jennifer Lopez was almost there, but could have been a tighter performance. Nicole Kidman has an Australian accent, but the actress had more of a British accent. If all of the celebrity impressions were dead-on, it could have been a really tight show. And maybe it was part of the joke that they weren’t, but if that was the choice, it wasn’t obvious enough.

Why did they alternate between music tracks and a piano player on stage? Super wierd, especially when some of the tracks were simply piano. Again, maybe this was a part of the joke, but it didn’t quite make sense to me.

The show wasn’t awful, but I feel like it just didn’t live up to it’s full potential.

My overall impression

Definitely had potential to be great, but it was just alright. While the actress playing Leah was dead-on with her characterization, the rest of the cast wasn’t quite there.
