What I liked

This evening of one acts sounds, smells and looks like Los Angeles. Solid, and occasionally brilliant actors give us dreams, hopes and the disasters of urban life. Ably anchored by Alex Alpharaoh, this is a swift and entertaining evening. The writing ranges from the deliberately poetic to the monosyllabic prosaic, but it captures what it’s like to live here in LA.

What I didn't like

There is a tendency to ramp up the stakes in several of these pieces which leads these young actors to over reach. These directors could trust these plays a little more. They do deliver.

My overall impression

This is a terrific evening of theatre. Well acted and written. I highly recommend this production.
