I liked how Lynda was able to bare her soul both literally and physically. Her words are not basic and neither was her performance. I was mesmerized and actually got chills a few times. I loved how she was able to change from one costume to another just as quickly as her role. Loved the thug stuff!
What I didn't like
She needs a larger theatre. Many people who really had decided to come said the tickets were sold out. Maybe add an extra performance.
My overall impression
A little girl, a teenager and a woman all tied up into one performance where you felt you were her. It was like looking at fish in a tank. You see all the beauty, the thoughts expressed in their eyes and themselves. I felt Lynda’s troubles, her fears, her love, and her hopes and dreams.
She charmed me into realizing I had just watched her life before me right on stage. Write, act, love = Lynda La Rose.
