What I liked

Play to the Whistle was an hour long dark comedy. Who doesn’t like a dark comedy? Better still you aren’t sitting for 2 and a half hours in an uncomfortable setting watching uncomfortable things happen on stage. In one hour you will laugh and you might even shed a tear. It really spans your emotions in 60 minutes. It was written with a great flow, and the actors chosen to play the roles were cast perfectly. I had a great time watching Play to the Whistle!

What I didn't like

The only issue that I had with the production, and please be mindful that I saw this play in its premiere phase, that some of the lines were delivered so fast I hoped I hadn’t missed something. I’m sure I didn’t. Please enjoy!

My overall impression

For those of you reading these reviews to decide which show to go see at fringe let me say this. I will hopefully be seeing it again this weekend or next!
