Smart piece; not just yuck-yuck joke songs, but a real dramatic and narrative arc. And oy, the talent! The pianist, the props, the autoharp. So great…
What I didn't like
Would be nice to see the show run a little longer (total run time per performance) and I could see really amp’ing up the props, graphics, etc to support the storytelling. But that’s not a Fringe possibility…just if the show gets another life in a more technically equipped space.
My overall impression
So much fun! My cheeks were aching by the end. Waddell delivers a tight 60-minute joy ride through epic, absurd parody tunes. The lady has the pipes and Sherman provides the giggle/groan humor. Loved it.
