What I liked
This show offers not a single occasion for audience-squirm — it is intelligent, funny, and flawlessly performed by Linden Waddell with Marjorie Poe accompanying. I admire the structure of the performance and the warmth of Linden’s vibrant personality.
What I didn't like
I would like to see in the printed program some mention of a few original song titles that we will experience in parody — so I can watch for “Moon River” and “Green Eyes.”
My overall impression
A thoroughly delightful combination of intelligence and wit, honoring the zany spirit of Allan Sherman, brought to life by a superb singer-actress who understands wry and understatement.
