What I liked
It’s not often that we get to see women who are mothers and wives, be complete people, untethered by those roles and understand their unique perspectives. For me, this show really showcased one woman’s journey to find herself, navigating out of a dysfunctional childhood and societal pressures and gleaning incredibly profound life lessons. The songs are funny and moving. You will laugh and cry and be very happy you got off of your couch to see this show.
What I didn't like
This show is so authentic and real that it is hard to criticize someone’s own perspective on their life. I think the piece speaks for itself and as it is intended.
My overall impression
This show is so incredibly raw and authentic. Funny, yet moving, Susan Dimante literally bares her soul and leaves it on stage.
