What I liked
The writer did an excellent job knitting the many stories together, and the cast was varied enough to offer a range of emotions. I enjoyed seeing the cast lay their emotions out for us, and I believe every story was relatable and personally impactful.
What I didn't like
A couple stutters here and there that needed to be polished due to the bare bones nature of the show. I’m not sure the blackouts were necessary, would have preferred an uninterrupted, free flow.
My overall impression
This is a very different style of show, and it took some ambition to not go a more traditional route and simply present monologues. When the show opened, I was not quite sure what to expect, but by the end, I truly felt like I had come along on a journey with the cast.
