What I liked

Paul does some clever restructuring of classic comic book superheroes by tweaking it towards the “Asian American experience.” For many of those who aren’t “woke” to what Asian Americans wade through, this one-man show gives a brief and clear summary, but packaged in a charmingly entertaining format. Paul engages the audience and speaks to them in his presentation.

What I didn't like

The show is good at it’s current state. There were some technical cues that could have been quicker, but Paul managed to male up for them by acknowledging them to the audience so that we I felt like we were included in the discussion, and not just being lectured to.

My overall impression

Clever “re-imagining” of comic heroes, while bringing forward the struggles of Asian-Americans and their national identity in the United States.
