What I liked

I personally liked how each character embodied a time in Paul’s life and represented common reactions to negative stereotypes, racism, and injustice. Paul was well-researched and comfortable with the subject matter and spoke from the heart. Also, Paul was masterful in making the subject matter relatable to the all with refreshing humor and audience interaction.

What I didn't like

I just wish it was longer!! I could watch Paul and these characters for longer and would love to see an extended format of this performance. Excited to see what is next for Paul.

My overall impression

This show touched on real issues of inequality in hollywood and the media in an authentic way. Paul shared his personal experience being raised by immigrant parents, searching for positive role models throughout with childhood, and trying to make it in hollywood as an adult. Overall, Paul’s adaptation of his dealings with these experiences into common super heroes is creative, honest, and leaves you with a feeling of hope for the future.
