What I liked

Everything is excellent, from storytelling to staging to talented cast. The director is so talented and versatile that he flawlessly shifts between singing styles (all sang with great interpretative style and voice) and also picks up different instruments to play with the small orchestra. It is a large cast with 4 instrumentalists, 5 singers, and 6 dancers. And the choreography and dancing is mesmerizing and Hot! The stories are well told for all 24 songs through song and choreographed dance theater, and well supported by breathtaking black and white artistic photography. And if you sit in the front row you may even be briefly brought on stage by the attractive cast to dance with them. All very enjoyable and a nite to remember!

What I didn't like

The location of the performance venue is difficult to find and distant from the stated address on Las Palmas. Studio 12 is on the other side of the studio lot, facing Seward Street, and 3 blocks distant from Las Palmas. TIP: Park on Seward and enter from the back entrance. It has its own security entrance and is much closer.

My overall impression

A class act! The music and singing is exquisite, the choreography is captivating, the dancing sizzles, the instrumentalists are phenomenal, and the background black and white photography is stunning. All 24 popular song standards are performed deliciously by a talented and charming cast for a night of entertaining musical dance theater at its best. Absolutely the best musical revue I have ever seen at the Hollywood Fringe (and I am very fussy about musicals). Not to miss!
