What I liked
I loved the fun varieties of music styles in Turbulence. None of it seemed out of place. Even when they did a country style song in a play about space. It has devices like Mambo taking on the Coach character.
What I didn't like
I felt like the characters were not relatable. Some seemed like parodies of classic character angles of sports/team movies. I was hoping to see some a bit more grounded throughout.
My overall impression
Turbulence is a must see show! It was a blast from start to finish! Robots have perfected the sci-fi musical genre while weaving in fun pop culture references. The music and choreography was incredible. Turbulence is a different story arc from the previous 2 musicals but it still had the same Robot playful charm. From blastoff, Turbulence keeps you on the edge of your Captain’s Chair.
