A well-done, beautiful recreation of the 1922 silent film.
What I didn't like
The staging wasn’t audience friendly. Because it was a silent play, the dialogue was projected on the full back of the stage wall. The same wall the actors were acting in front of, making it difficult to read the dialogue. I was seated in the center, so there shouldn’t have been any blockage. I did see a preview, so it’s possible this was sorted out before they officially opened.
My overall impression
Overall, a well-done production. They captured the tone and look of the film with a few props and a projector. I thought the Nosferatu was fantastic in particular, though the entire cast did a great job. The two leads (Thomas/Ellen) were also well-trained ballet dancers, performing lovely choreography.
