A strong and powerful performance by Sacha Elie who has crafted a poignant script that left me thinking long after the show ended. Great lighting design, great acting, a script that is needed now more than ever! And fun interaction with the audience that helps personalize it all.
What I didn't like
This isn’t necessarily a criticism because I like what happened but maybe some experimentation with interacting a bit more with the audience might be fun.
My overall impression
A thought-provoking show centered on a strong performance with an honest and unique script. It’s a performance that will stick with you after you have left the stage and reminds you of the struggles black actresses and black women in general go through on a daily basis.
