What I liked
Look at it like a Masterclass in writing for the stage. It’s a classic, perfected family dramedy. The craziest characters were acted perfectly with nuance that made them realistic. The relationships were great to watch unfold. I mean there was a full meal served on stage. Just a total treat to watch actors play.
What I didn't like
I don’t think there should be 90 minute fringe shows. This story would still work in an hour slot. But the performances were burning and passionate and still got the audience right through till the end.
My overall impression
Only thing better than the actor’s performance is the nuanced writing! Move over August Osage County. Do not miss!
