What I liked
The overall look, feel, and flow of the show. The lighting, the sound, the connection between the actors. Of course I walked away from this loving Exa most. Not what I would have expected!
What I didn't like
There were a few moments that I wish could have been drawn out longer — in particular the moment when Ky Soto’s character starts attacking Exa the Robot as if it does not matter that he attack because she is not actually a sentient being. This is complicated and it would have been fascinating to push it further.
My overall impression
Nick, what a wonderful job you did of directing this extremely timely show!! The pacing, the music, the flow between the actors. The time passed in a flash. Congratulations and I look forward to your next project!
