What I liked

A dissection of the divide between the sexes, Daddy Walks Like A Slut is a commentary on how women throughout the ages have dealt with the social constructs that try to define them. As a woman, I’ve always dreamt of what I’d say to my younger self if I could go back in time – through this show we get to do just that – and though the younger self is resistant at first, eventually a connection is made, motivations are made clear, and scars are sorted out.

There is a beautiful line about carrying scars.

The play is smart, witty and funny – as are the cast members, especially Brittany and Kristen. I wish I could show this to some men I know to help them understand what it’s like to truly be the stronger sex.

What I didn't like

I only wish it were longer because I’d love to hear what else Brittany Stahl has to say.

My overall impression

Thought provoking, simple, and poignant. This piece is deeply philosophical without trying to be, it knows exactly what it is, who it’s talking to, and is 100% unapologetic about it. Give me more!!!
