What I liked
… how comfortable Rasika is onstage… and how comfortable she makes us feel as audience members. Also, her skill level. For me, this show is Rasika coming out of her shell (not to mention describing what the shell is made of)… and I look forward to seeing where this show takes her (not just career-wise… but personally).
What I didn't like
her flyer, although handmade, and I LOVE handmade… does not tell you how talented she is. It may show, however, show that she has ADHD.
My overall impression
Rasika is a powerhouse performer that folks need to see. She’s so comfortable onstage and such a good improviser (she casts audience members and is so incredibly present with them). She’s fun… deep… FUNNY… and touching (sniff… there’s a beautiful baby turtle through-line which was a lovely decision in regards to structuring the show). Not sure what she’ll do next, but I’d watch a sketch-style solo show from her in a heartbeat, but who knows what she has up her sleeve… or… what the world/this industry has in store for her.
