What I liked
The use of the space, the opening address to the audience, the simple layout, all set the stage for such a touching piece of theatre. The moments that in another piece might feel hokey or cliched are here so REAL, so emotionally connected, that words fail me.
The non-linearity of the piece mean that if you wonder off you will get lost, but the performers so strong, particularly the daughter and her father, don’t allow that to happen.
What I didn't like
Hmm…there may be a little bit of refinement or tightening possible. I couldn’t tell you where, I’m not even certain that it is possible. But I want more of this story, and if that can be done while maintaining the rough TRT so much the better.
My overall impression
Science-y & Wonder-y. Pay close attention so you can fully experience ever moment of the journey.
