What I liked

I appreciated the welcoming staff and the staging of the play was beautiful. The audience members were respectful and engaged with the authors. The props were simplistic, yet interesting. The cat was a humorous character and the human actor had the most realistic purr. The daughter was the most intriguing character. The price was very affordable.

What I didn't like

Honestly, I can tell that the production was well thought out but I DID NOT understand the play at all. Why did the mother turn dark, did she leave the family or did she die? It was really confusing, possibly adding an age limit would be helpful. A couple of other audience members were also confused about the context of the play.

My overall impression

I believe this play would interest those who are familiar with it’s genre. I liked the comparison between two organisms needing each to survive in the universe no matter how far the distance was. Although the play was confusing, the actors portrayed their parts very well. I liked the manner than it was produced in and I would consider seeing another play or the full play from this cast.
