What I liked

Great performances all around. I really enjoyed how well the soldiers meshed with each other when joking around when they were alone in the barracks.

Flashbacks were handled really well, using lighting changes to highlight the action taking place in the past.

Nice use of scenery shifting taking place during scenes to reduce the amount of pitch-black periods in between scenes.

What I didn't like

I can’t think of anything major with the play. The stage combat could have been a little more convincing.

Once again a venue seemed to oversell tickets, resulting in a need for folding chairs in front of the front row, which led to the people having difficulty seeing over the higher up people now in front of them.

My overall impression

A superb cast of actors delivering Pulitzer Prize-winning material that explores important social topics equals the highlight of Fringe for me this year.
