What I liked
The fluidity with which Gabriella DeMarco transitioned between characters. The overall production design and the lighting. The incorporation of projected videos and images. How cohesive the different elements came together.
What I didn't like
Go even further into the different characters. Sometimes the projection screen was used as a backdrop in place of set changes. Though it was clever, I felt the magazine-like images distracted from the performance. I felt it would be more powerful to instead use subtle lighting change and to rely on the performer’s reaction to the environment.
My overall impression
Hilarious, honest, well-executed.
